Very few people seem to believe that New Orleans’ saints can legitimately challenge the title NFC South this season to come. After all, they went only 5-12 in 2024 and have several list holes.
They signed the Justin Reid security of the Kansas City chiefs and called on the Large Brandin Cooks recipient, but they still do not have a real reference option to the broad position, and the quarter point is a question mark after two disappointing campaigns of the Starter Derek Carr.
But the NFC South is not exactly one of the strongest divisions in the NFL. The defensive winger veteran Cameron Jordan said on “Good Morning Football” that he thought that healthy saints were a high quality team.
“I think we have a team where, in good health, (we are) high level,” Jordan said. “Last year, (we) went 2-0, we saw a healthy Rashid Shaheed, we saw Chris Olave, a healthy offensive line. We saw a team that was determined, young guys out of the tip, Chase Young, Carl Granderson.
“We were confronted with the man following each week, including in our quarter position, which is probably the most important position for our offense. The quarterrier throws the ball. We insert Spencer Rattle. We insert Jake Haener, return to Spencer Rattle for Derek Carr. Give me a healthy derek Carr, and I can tell you where will be a healthy state of mind.”
New Orleans won its first two games of the 2024 season while scoring a total of 91 points in these competitions. But he then made a sequence of seven consecutive defeats which actually torpedo his season, and yes, injuries were a factor, especially in attack.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the division in each of the last four seasons. But Jordan is not exactly impressed by the way they did it.
“Let’s be real,” said Jordan. “The Bucs have won the division in the last three or four years. So, until you cut the king of the hill, that’s what you do, you mount a hill. But let’s not say they run away with. … They clearly won the NFC South last year, 10-7. The previous year, 9-8. The previous year, 8-9.
There were rumors that the saints were trying to upgrade to the quarter position in the project and that they could even want to take SheDer Sanders, the talented but polarizing signaller of Colorado.
The team will have the choice n ° 9 in the draft later this month, and whatever the direction he decides to go with this choice, he could end up taking an absolute stallion with this selection.
