We are just over a week from the NFL draft and the greatest need for Strait Lions remains the same as at the start of the free agency.
The team has still not responded to their need to add a better option as the second departure edge rusher.

The free agent options have mainly disappeared at this stage, but there are still viable players that they could continue.
This includes Veteran Edge who has spent the last five seasons with Miami dolphins.

In an article identifying a player, each NFL team should always sign this offseason, Mark Stolte of professional football and the sports network Appointed former dolphins Edge Emmanuel Ogbah as the player that Lions should continue.
Ogbah is one of the best adjustments to the free agents market for Lions.
While Marcus Davenport is a major joker because of his injury history, Ogbah was a constant contributor throughout his career. He had at least five bags during six of his nine NFL seasons.

This includes a 2024 season when he contributed six bags for dolphins and added 33 total pressures.
He was also strong against the race last season. According to Professional football focusOgbah finished 28th among the on -board rushers with 26 stops.
Nor should it be so expensive after costing dolphins that $ 3.25 million in 2024.
To add it would give the Lions a second stable option on the edge on which they could count until they have a longer term option ready to take over.
He was one of the options I liked when I wrote on the lions needing a “bridge” edge and there is someone left that Lions should consider as a late addition to their list.
