The director general of Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jason Licht, did a lot of work to become one of the best executives in the league during the 2025 season.
Five consecutive playoff matches, four consecutive division titles and a Super Bowl title have all added an organization which has become one of the most coherent groups in the league over the years.

Part of this success went through the NFL project.
A 20 of the 22 starters of Tampa Bay last season has gone through the draft over the years with only two players coming by a free agency. It is a fact that kept the team’s chemistry on the track.
The athletics list, which uses the approximate value of pro football reference to note the 32 teams in the past five years, has also shown why. Tampa Bay came out with an AV note of 8.94, barely below 8.95 of the Baltimore Ravens as the first group of the League.
“Wirfs is only 26 years old and has already become the first player in the history of the NFL to win the honors of the first All-Pro team in the right and left tackle. Tampa Bay also hung Antoine Winfield Jr. in 2020 and continued to grind the middle rounds as well as any team from the League (Cade Otton, Bucky Irving, Cody Mauch), said Athletics.

Tampa Bay is written at an excellent pace. If they want to exceed the best conference teams, the organization should be even better in the 2025 selection process.
And this could be the difference between a simple appearance in the playoffs or a Super Bowl race.
