Foxborough – The Patriots continue to arm the offense of Drake Maye.
With their first choice in the third round, the choice 69, the Patriots drafted the wide receiver Kyle Williams from the Washington State. Outdoor receiver of 5 feet 11 inches, Williams captured 70 passes for 1,199 yards with 14 affected last season.

This marks the second consecutive season that the patriots have written a receiver to try to help Maye. Williams is a good athlete with a dashboard of 4.40 40 yards. He visited the patriots during the pre-project process.
Last year, the Patriots drafted the receiver Ja’lynn Polk in the second round, then the Javon Baker receiver in the fourth round. Despite great hopes for the two young passes sensors, last season did not go as planned. Polk captured 12 passes for 87 yards and two affected. Baker caught a pass for 12 yards.
Now, after having signed the veterans Stefon Diggs and Mack Hollins, the patriots add another receiver to their room. Williams will provide depth and competition instead of the external receiver.
Williams aligned 74% of the time last season with 25% of his upcoming shots in the slit. He spent his first three seasons at the UNLV before transferring to Washington. He finished fourth in the FBS with 14 receptions of touch. Williams is a home threat with the ball in his hands, with an average of 17.1 yards per reception.

The Patriots receptor room is now stacked with a lot of bodies. Williams joins the new arrivals Diggs and Hollins. Demario Douglas, Kendrick Bourne, Kayshon Boutte, Polk, Baker, Jacae Jackson and John Jiles.
The patriots have too many receivers on the list and at this stage, it would not be a surprise to see the team exchange someone to clean the space.
Williams is the third offensive choice for the Patriots to start the recovery of the NFL 2025. He joined Tackle Will Campbell and the Ballon Treatyon Henderson.
