Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt loves to talk. Last week, Taylor-Britt criticized Kansas City Chiefs rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy.
“Speed is everything,” Taylor-Britt said. said last week via ESPN“He can run straight, do jet sweeps and run straight. He can’t do much else, so that’s about it.”
Worthy threw for two touchdowns in Kansas City’s season opener, but Taylor-Britt backed up his comments in Week 2. He threw a spectacular interception and Worthy caught four passes for just 17 yards. Unfortunately for the third-year cornerback, the Chiefs won the game on a last-second field goal.
Now the 0-2 Bengals host the Washington Commanders (1-1) in the Week 3 edition of Monday Night Football.
Taylor-Britt has a new target in mind for her Week 3 trash talk: Washington rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.
“They don’t make him do a whole lot,” Taylor-Britt said Thursday. “They really make it easy for him. A good college offense, (Kliff) Kingsbury, the offensive coordinator, so they like to move guys around, but they really make it easy for him. I hear his passing percentage is really high, but he’s just making short passes, intermediate passes and quick passes.”
So was Taylor-Britt going after Daniels or Kliff Kingsbury?

The Bengals should be angry on Monday. Cincinnati, which is in Super Bowl contention before the season, cannot afford another loss.
But you know Washington head coach Dan Quinn will be reminding his team, especially Daniels, of Taylor-Britt’s comments over the next few days.
Daniels has played well over the past two weeks, completing 75.5 percent of his passes for 410 yards and no turnovers. He has also rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns. Daniels has yet to throw a touchdown, but the Commanders committed five red zone penalties in their Week 2 win over the Giants.
If nothing else, Taylor-Britt’s comments added more intrigue to Monday night’s game.
