Strategist Justin Herbert came out of the The Los Angeles Chargers Match of the week 3 against the Pittsburgh Steelersre-injuring his ankle, which had almost sidelined him before the game.
The 26-year-old suffered a high ankle sprain Chargers‘Week 2 victory against the Carolina Panthers and appeared to re-aggravate the injury in the third quarter Sunday. Herbert was seen limping to the sideline during the game broadcast after taking a hard hit to the The Steelers.

Herbert received treatment in the blue medical tent on the Chargers sideline. Backup quarterback Taylor Heinicke came into play in relief.

Justin Herbert injury update
The Chargers quarterback briefly left the field and entered the blue medical tent with an ankle injury, according to the Chargers. He did not want to return to the field after apparently reinjuring his ankle.
Herbert was seen wearing a walking boot after the game and said his ankle injury was normal before the game, but became painful throughout the game.
After the game, Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh said he had no further updates on the various injuries suffered by Los Angeles players, including Herbert (ankle), edge rusher Joey Bosa (hip) and offensive tackle Rashawn Slater (pec). He also said he plans to take Herbert out of the game if he shows signs of worsening his ankle injury.
“As soon as I saw Justin get up, the first sign of a limp, he was out of the game,” Harbaugh said. “I took him out.”
Herbert was initially considered “uncertain about his return”. He was later seen limping onto the touchline with a cap on his head.
