Pop star Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce are still dating despite the singer’s absence from the Kansas City Chiefs’ last two games, according to a report.
Kelce and the Chiefs narrowly beat the Los Angeles Chargers, 17-10, in a divisional road game Sunday, with Kelce totaling 7 catches and 89 receiving yards, passing Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez as franchise’s all-time receptions leader.
However – like the previous week in Atlanta – Swift was once again not in the stands cheering on Kelce and Kansas City.
Kelce’s impressive stat came days after former ESPN analyst Todd McShay blamed Kelce’s slow start (8 catches, 69 yards) and lack of fitness for his busy offseason.
The criticism added more speculation about the couple’s status and led Kelce’s teammates to wear supportive T-shirts before Sunday’s game while Jim Nantz and Tony Romo defended him from the CBS broadcast booth.
While some fans fear the couple could split, a source told TMZ it was all a logistical issue as Swift rehearsed and prepared to go back on tour in mid-October, starting with several dates in Miami.
