The Philadelphia Eagles have 12 days until they take the field again for Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns.
If the Eagles need to make major changes, now would be a good time. The Eagles are on a bye week and may have some choices to make. Things haven’t been perfect so far this season and Philadelphia is 2-2 on the young season.
Rumors and speculation are already swirling about the team. Some wonder if there could be a head coaching change, but that is extremely unlikely. It might make sense to add a little more depth to the organization as injuries pile up.
It’s also possible the Eagles could part ways with a player or two. Pro Bowl linebacker Devin White has yet to appear in a game this season and FanSided’s Geoffrey Knox suggested the team could “cut their losses” and either trade him or release him.
“It’s almost inconceivable that someone could stoop that low and do it so quickly and so unexpectedly,” Knox said. “Devin White has experienced two teams during his NFL career, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Philadelphia Eagles. These teams met on the field to face off in a football game this past Sunday. Things didn’t go well for Philly Somewhere along the line, he may have also forgotten which team is paying him. Instead of cheering for his current team via social media, he was busy reposting one on Sunday. tweet on Lavonte David’s forced fumble, FOX Sports’ Greg Aumon…
“There are rumors that Philly might pawn him off to someone via trade. If that doesn’t work out, the Eagles have no choice but to cut him. They should just cut their losses and decide to move on without him.”
Things haven’t gone well between the Eagles and White so far. Maybe their partnership will end soon.
