The Los Angeles Chargers are a work in progress. Well, they’re a work in progress, and they already have a franchise quarterback in Justin Herbert and a piece of stonewall in first-round pick Joe Alt. However, every time there is a coaching change, everything changes from the bottom up, meaning opportunities are up for grabs.
So the team has some pieces on offense, but what about defense? Currently, chargers defense ranks third overall of the turnover differential to plus five. Guys like Khalil Mack and Bud Depree wreak havoc on offense, but they don’t do it alone. According to Focus on professional football (PFF), the Chargers found a diamond in the rough.
Kristian Fulton spent the first four seasons of his career with the Tennessee Titans before heading to Los Angeles. Although the former Titans cornerback hasn’t made much noise during his tenure there, he’s already turning heads in his new digs.

When Fulton signed a one-year, $3.125 million contract with the Chargers, few people turned their heads. After just four games in Los Angeles, Fulton appears to be playing well above his salary. The former Titan has earned an overall PFF grade of 82.5 so far, including a stingy 82.3 PFF coverage grade – both of which rank in the top seven among cornerbacks this season (minimum of 30 snaps).

The text goes on to note that Fulton’s previous high came in 2021 with a rating of 64.1.
It seems Fulton has finally found a place he can call home.
