Both teams are 1-3 with three losses. The Dolphins are without their starting quarterback as Tua Tagovailoa recovers from a concussion. Last week, coach Mike McDaniel turned to Tyler Huntley, who responded with a 96-yard scoring pass in a 31-12 loss Monday night to the Titans. The vaunted offense led by Tyreek Hill and De’Von Achane failed, scoring just 25 points during the losing streak. Could Odell Beckham bring new energy?
The Patriots have other problems under first-year coach Jerod Mayo. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett has yet to give way to rookie Drake Maye, but the Pats haven’t scored more than 20 points this season. Meanwhile, running back Rhamondre Stevenson has 267 yards and two touchdowns, but he also has a fumble in all four games.
