Cincinnati Bengals Receiver Ja’Marr Chase put Sunday’s game-breaking interception on his shoulders.
“(Wrong) route,” Chase said. “My fault.”
The Bengals were trying to run out the clock and had a 3-point lead with 3:05 left.
Chase ran a slant, but Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey dove under Chase to get the inside track of the ball.
It was man to man. I had Ja’Marr on an angle. I took a photo. He played a very good game. I’m not sure I would have made a different decision than that. Thanks to him.
Burrow said Chase shouldn’t blame himself.
“Marlon is a great player,” Burrow said. “We made plays, and they made plays. Thanks to him. He is an intelligent and savvy player.
