THE Giants (2-3) are back at home as they host the Bengals (1-4) in Week 6 on Sunday night.
Last week, Big Blue pulled off a big upset by beating the Seahawks 29-20 as a seven-point underdog in the Pacific Northwest in Week 5.
Now the Giants return to the Meadowlands where they will play four of the next six home games, with the exception of Week 8 in Pittsburgh against the Steelers and Week 10 when they travel to Munich, Germany to take on the Caroline. Panthers on November 10.
Unfortunately, the G-Men will be without wide receiver Malik Nabers as he is still in concussion protocol and did not practice all week. Meanwhile, there is some hope for running back Devin Singletary, who, while questionable due to a groin injury, practiced limitedly all week.
The Bengals have been one of the most disappointing teams so far in 2024. With expectations high due to the return of quarterback Joe Burrow – who missed most of the second half of last season due to wrist injury – the Bengals are out of the game. doors slowly, losing four of their first five matches.
The problem has been the defense — which has given up 24 or more points in five straight games, including a season-high 41 in an overtime loss to the Ravens last weekend.
Can the Giants, with two of their best playmakers in Nabers and Singletary almost likely back on the field, pull off another upset, this time as a prime-time home underdog?
