Three Buffalo Bills players left injured and did not return in the comeback victory against the Tennessee Titans.
It is unclear whether linebackers Terrel Bernard and Dorian Williams, or wide receiver Curtis Samuel will be available in Week 8. Buffalo will travel to face the Seattle Seahawks at 4:05 p.m. on Sunday.
Bills head coach Sean McDermott did not provide additional updates on the players’ status Monday.
“We’ll see how they do,” McDermott said. “See how the week goes with these three guys.”
Buffalo picked up running back James Cook and defensive tackle Ed Oliver last week. Cook missed one game with a toe injury and Oliver missed two games with a hamstring injury.
In addition to the injuries, Von Miller is serving the final game of a four-game suspension. He is eligible to return to the team on October 2.
Seattle could be without star receiver DK Metcalf, who is “week to week” after a sprained MCL forced him to be carted off the field on Sunday.
NFL teams must submit a report on their participation in Wednesday, Thursday and Friday practices for a Sunday game. There are three levels of practice participation that can be designated: non-participation, limited participation, and full participation.
A match status report is expected Friday at 5 p.m. for Sunday matches.
Here is the Bills against the Seahawks injury report for week 7:
Buffalo Bills Injury Update for Week 8
Terrel Bernard, LB, ankle
Terrel Bernard suffered two injuries during the Week 7 win over the Tennessee Titans. Bernard was playing his third consecutive game after missing weeks 3 and 4 due to pectoral strain.
He was evaluated for a concussion in the second quarter and returned to the field to start the second half. Bernard injured his right ankle in the third quarter. Bernard’s foot was stomped on by offensive lineman Dillon Radunz as he rushed at the quarterback. He lay on his back and grabbed his right ankle after the play. Bernard left with athletic trainers and went to the medical tent. He ran and stretched on the sideline before the fourth quarter to test his ankle, but headed to the locker room and was demoted for the rest of the game.
Bills head coach Sean McDermott said the team is “awaiting further evaluations” on Bernard and wide receiver Curtis Samuel.

Dorian Williams, LB, knee
Dorian Williams injured his knee midway through the fourth quarter against the Titans in Week 7. He jumped over the line of scrimmage while trying to stop a fourth-and-one play. Williams remained momentarily seated on the grass. It was probably decided that he would come back, but he didn’t come back in the game.

It was Williams’ last game and it was considered likely that he would return.
Hard to see, looks like he took a hit to his L knee late, you can see his head snapping back in pain.
Maybe a bruise, he didn’t come back because of a score. Other angles may show more specific injuries. pic.twitter.com/Yt6M1oQ3ZL

Curtis Samuel, WR, shoulder
Curtis Samuel injured his shoulder in the first quarter of Week 7. He was then ruled out for the rest of the game.
Samuel started a moving play out of the backfield on the Bills’ second possession. Josh Allen’s pass intended for Samuel was deflected at the line of scrimmage. Samuel turned around, catching the ball with his right arm before tumbling to his right side. Samuel managed to get out of the way but got down on his knees and was examined by medical trainers before entering the medical tent. He headed to the locker room with a trainer and didn’t return.
#Invoices Curtis Samuel R shoulder inj.
Falls on the D elbow, trapping the head of the humerus up to the shoulder. Initially questionable, I didn’t return.
It is likely that I continued to experience pain and loss of movement/strength.
Inj. possible posterior capsule/rotator cuff.
A possible labrum is involved, an AC unlikely. pic.twitter.com/pbwKGAKDzc

Metcalf attempted to make a jump catch along the left sideline late in the third quarter, but was undercut by Atlanta safety Justin Simmons. Metcalf was transported off the field and did not return.
Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald confirmed Metcalf suffered a “minor MCL” sprain and said the team would know more after testing during the week.
“You know DK. We know DK,” Macdonald said. “He’s going to do everything humanly possible to try and play this game, I imagine.”
Metcalf is second in the NFL with 568 receiving yards and is tied for 11th with 35 receptions.
