What to know from the Indianapolis Colts’ injury report Thursday against the Vikings

THE Indianapolis Colts held their second practice of the week Thursday as they prepare for their prime-time matchup with the Minnesota Vikings.

Let’s take a look at what you need to know.

    – As we discussed in Wednesday’s injury report recap, while Josh Downs, Ryan Kelly, Michael Pittman and Braden Smith did not practice, all four players returned Thursday and were full participants. In recent weeks, this has been the norm for every player.

    – Bernhard Raimann remains sidelined and in concussion protocol. He didn’t practice. If he can’t go, I suspect we’ll see rookie Matt Goncalves get the start against a very aggressive, blitz-heavy Vikings defense.

    – Genard Avery and Anthony Richardson were full participants for the second day. Both players should be available on Sunday if necessary.

    – Kwity Paye appeared on the injury report. He was limited by a hamstring injury. This will be important to watch for the rest of the week. Without Paye for a few games this season, the defensive end depth took a hit and the unit would struggle.

    – Chris Lammons was also added to the injury report after not being listed on Thursday, but he was a full participant.
