The New York Jets had eight players not practice Wednesday during the first work of Week 10 ahead of Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. That number included all starting offensive linemen, although for left tackle Tyron Smith it was an off day and right tackle Morgan Moses was also mostly rested although the official list was on a knee. Moses played all 58 snaps on Sunday.

The Jets could be compromised at both guard spots, where backup tackles Max Mitchell and Olu Fashanu were forced to play in the second half against the Texans due to injuries to Simpson, Vera-Tucker and Hinactive. Simpson played just 12 snaps (21%), while Hanson played 21 (36%). Mitchell played 46 (79 percent) and Fashanu (37 (64 percent).
Mosley was inactive on Sunday, while Thomas played just 22 snaps (28%). Carter, who is the nickel defender, played only 28 snaps (35 percent).
