In what has been considered a rebuilding year, the Los Angeles Chargers have blown everyone out of the water with their play in 2024. The 7-3 Chargers are currently the fifth seed in the AFC and could become serious threats to the Kansas City Chiefs. for the division title.
Despite their exceptional play, there are still many opponents to their success. Justin Herbert is playing at an insane level, JK Dobbins is having a resurgence year, and their defense has held teams to the lowest scoring averages in the league. What more could fans want? Turns out, ESPN’s Adam Schefter thinks a lot is sleeping on the Chargers this season.
The Chargers fought through adversity to win this game.
“I think people sleep on this team and they can play with anyone.
Justin Herbert is as good as anyone in this league” ~ @AdamSchefter #PMSLive pic.twitter.com/qdxoIPyoc8

“I think this is a team that people sleep on,” Schefter said on the Pat McAfee Show. “I think they’re good enough to stand alongside the AFC giants and play with any of them. Justin Herbert is as good as anyone. Would that surprise anyone if this team was good enough to face the Chiefs, or any team in the playoffs?
The Chargers are warning the league they will have to continue to do this over the final seven weeks of play.
