“I think this is a team that people sleep on,” Schefter said on the Pat McAfee Show. “I think they’re good enough to stand alongside the AFC giants and play with any of them. Justin Herbert is as good as anyone. Would that surprise anyone if this team was good enough to face the Chiefs, or any team in the playoffs?
The Chargers are warning the league they will have to continue to do this over the final seven weeks of play.
